While I was in San Francisco photographing Gina’s and Oscar’s wedding, I also had the chance to photograph Veronica at Golden Gate Park for her senior portraits. The park is like Central Park for San Francisco. It’s very large with many trails and beautiful landscaping. Also, there are many cultural destinations, like the de Young Fine Art Museum of San Francisco, where we made the photograph shown above. For this photo, Veronica showed me some fashion model attitude!
This next photo was made in the big plaza in between the de Young musem and the California Academy of Sciences. Veronica shows us her softer side.
And we wanted to make sure to get some photos in Veronica’s cheerleader uniform because it’s a big part of who she is today as a high school senior, which is what senior portraiture is all about. Senior portraiture is about documenting that special time in a person’s life when they enter the adult world. They can revisit that time in their life through the photographs that were created.
